Traveling Without A Spare Tire

Discuss with others about towing. What is the best tow vehicle, hitches, brake controllers, etc, keeping in mind that everybody has his/her favorite.

Last year I had 3 valve stems let go at the same time on my truck. I used AAA roadside service and was limping along in 1 hr to the next exit to get a better of a fix. The road side service arrived within 15 minutes. I was fortunate they were close by. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have roadside service in that situation. I would have needed 3 spare tires not counting the one above my belt.

Well I decided to buy me a spare rim and tire this week and build a holder for the spare. I was shocked at the cost of one tire $362.00 and one new wheel $245.
I also have Good Sams Road Side Service and will use that service when needed.

Will Camping World mount and balance the tire?

I know its impossible with the mdt's but its a shame that the 8 lug pattern is different with the metric circle on the trucks now because that would give another short term option having the spare from the truck fit the trailer and from the trailer to fitr the truck. Our car trailer uses the 5 lug on 4.5 in pattern which when my dad built it was great because he always towed with a full size ford car so he had a spare but now he has an f 150 and I use 8 lug only so we carry a spare.

Rob,
Yes Camping World will mount and balance the tires, not all locations sell or do tires and wheels.
