5th wheel upgrade
I am looking for opinions on the Air Safe hitch, 3 in 1 air box. The owner said it is a 20k hitch but on the Air Safe web site their 20k hitch looks different than this one. This one kind of looks like the 18k hitch on the Air Safe web site. I know of one for $1300 and it is like new. Currently I have the 16k Husky and I think that I could order just the air box from Air Safe for about $1050 plus $75 for shipping and use my 16k 5th wheel. The Air Safe hitch has two air bags but I can't seem to find any technical information on how it works such as; side to side tilt, vertical and horizontal movements. To buy any air pin box is $1000 so this might be a good deal? The hitch is about a 2.5 hour drive so any information I could get would be great. Thanks to all.

Re: 5th wheel upgrade
I have the 25k Air Safe Hitch. See here: http://airsafehitches.com/25k_fifth_wheel.html
This is what the 20K Air Safe Hitch looks like: http://airsafehitches.com/20k_5th_wheel.html
And here is the 18K AirBox: http://airsafehitches.com/airbox.html
The main difference is the number of air bags. Air Safe has 4; AirBox has 2. We were going to upgrade our Reese 16K hitch but decided to upgrade to a 25K hitch. We have the Binkley-Holland head on ours which I like because the jaws close completely around the pin. Our Reese only had one jaw which slid across the back of the pin.
Hope this helps.

We also have the Airsafe 25K hitch with the Binkley head unit. My body, the tow body and the rig all thank me every time we hit the road. Great hitch and would not tow without it.
