Drove a 2011 Silverado

Discuss with others about towing. What is the best tow vehicle, hitches, brake controllers, etc, keeping in mind that everybody has his/her favorite.

Vince they are heated and power adjust but you have to manually extend them

Torben it's taupe grey kind of a different color looks dark grey until the sun hits it just right then you can see a brown tint. Yes comes with the good turbo clamps

Mike, Nice truck. Did you end up with the LT truck you drove first or the LTZ?
Are those wheels the 18s or 20s?

This is from dieselpowermag.com talking about the new Ford 6.7:

Turbocharger
The 6.7L uses a Garrett single sequential turbo (SST) with variable geometry, a dual-scroll exhaust housing, and an externally actuated wastegate. This turbo has a pair of compressor wheels that are coupled together on a single shaft driven by the turbine wheel. The design is said to dramatically increase the compressor map's range and functions like a sequential twin-turbo system. The boost pressure will be around 30 psi, the turbine shaft speed will see up to 130,000 rpm, and the whole system was designed to function as an exhaust brake. The compressed air will be cooled by an air-to-water intercooler-another first in this segment.

I don't know if this is the same thing or not.

Rob

CONGRATULATIONS Mike! I knew you couldn't wait long once you drove the new one. The test drive just seems to ignite something and the "New Truck" fever starts to grow.
It's a beautiful rig, I'm looking forward to seeing it in Yellowstone.
