A little stress...me too!

Discuss with others about towing. What is the best tow vehicle, hitches, brake controllers, etc, keeping in mind that everybody has his/her favorite.

I also worried about the weights and towing. I have a 2011 2500 dodge with the Cummings engine. I am pulling a 3600 Blue Ridge. (12,500 dry weight) I talked to the factory to verify the difference in a 2500 and 3500 single axle. Same transmission - good, Same rearend - good. Extra spring....hmmmm. I purchased airbags (can air up from inside the cab) and run 40 to 45 pounds. No problems up or down hill. A world without end.

Someone mentioned the freshwater tank. The tank is located all the way to the rear in a Blue Ridge. I do not run it above a 1/3 full for fear of bending the frame. (Been there done that).
New at this 5th Wheel thing so please be careful around me.

Your not going to bend your frame filling your fresh water tank

Once again, air bags do not increase the towing capacity of your vehicle. They will stop people from flashing their lights at you when night towing, though...
