Pullright Superglide and Mor/Ryde

Postby watkinsk » Sun May 27, 2012 6:30 pm

So, in my new F350 shortbed I am now thinking about switching from my older Reese 16K slider hitch to a Pullright Superglide 16K. Trouble is I have a Mor/Ryde king pin which requires a unique capture plate to fit the Superglide. Does anyone on this board use a Pullright Superglide in combination with a Mor/Ryde king pin? If so, how is it working out and how tough was it to put the capture plate on the Mor/Ryde???

Thanks, Keith

I have the Trail Air pin with superglide, you want to purchase a quick connect capture plate. http://www.pullrite.com/pdfs/QCCP_Fit_Chart.pdf. This option allows you to remove the capture plate in case you ever have to have someone else tow your trailer that does not have a pullright hitch. The last plate I got the dealer welded it on and I had at least two occasions where I needed to have it towed by someone else and they could not do it.
