Hire 5th Wheel Relocation (Shreveport/Colorado Springs)

We're moving from Shreveport, LA to Colorado Springs, CO and need to hire the relocation of our 2014 3800FL. This move will be on our about 1 Feb 2014.

Rob, we met a couple at a rally in Texas who do this as a business.. I will get their number (from the camper) tomorrow morning and let you know - they have a BIG truck (Freight-liner type) and can Drive it! LOL!

Thanks Don. I've called one/more of them recently. Costs are similar, the insurance and back up plan for mechanical problems with the tow vehicle are important to me.

You post the date, to/from locations, description of item to be moved, and in a bid-format you get the best price. Can even research the company bidding upon your shipment.

Looks like $1400 is the best bid so far.

Thanks for the suggestions. The move in February went great. Used a website (uship.com) where haulers can post their bids. $1 per mile is what we found. If you need the name of the hauler, lemme kno.
