Truxedo Lo Pro QT

Discuss with others about towing. What is the best tow vehicle, hitches, brake controllers, etc, keeping in mind that everybody has his/her favorite.

So Mike is this a fold up cover, aluminum panels with a vinyl covering?

No its a roll up soft cover. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7965_n8o6u4 Even though they are not billed as being water tight mine has not leaked a drop even during some very heavy down pours. Had my last Truxedo on my 2004 Dodge for 4 years with no problems so we shall see how this one holds up.

What keeps it from sagging when it rains? The roll up I had on my 1983 short be used to really stretch when we'd get rain.
Did it come with some kind of bows to support it?

Bill, I found that it will puddle unlike the hard covers. As long as the cover is closed there is no problem. The water must be remove before you try to open the cover.

Well it doesn't unless you want to get wet. One quick stop in reverse does the trick. On the long box there are three bars that go across. Its not like it sags to the bottom of the bed just a little puddle. They claim it will hold up to 350 lbs of rain or snow.

That's great, I would have to make several backing attempts to get mine to completely empty. At times it sagged up to a foot.
Rob that canvas cover you found looks interesting, I may check them out this coming winter once we are through traveling for a couple months. Thanks for the heads up.

Well after several types of weather over the last 20 months I have to say it is holding up very well. Never has leaked a drop of water.
