Piggy-back for OBD plug

Post by risham »

I was wondering if anybody might know where I could purchase a piggy-back plug for my OBD plug. My brake controller is controlled and hooked into the OBD plug and I believe I am going to need it for an exhaust brake also. I could use a splitter(Y) or a piggy-back or something similar

I guess the question is why is your brake controller plugged into your obd port? Do you have a max brake or direclink controller? The Jacob exhaust brake I had on my dodge did not hook into the obd port either. On my 04.5 you had to put in a vacuum pump to run the brake. Now this was many years ago and I'm sure products have changed.
