3/4" deep 1/2 drive socket with 4" extension and a breaker bar - in case you need to change a tire.

1 1/16" socket 1/2" drive for anode rod in water heater - incase you need to tighten it up.

I carry a 6 ton bottle jack and short pieces of wood 2x4 and 4x4 in case the jack is to short to reach the jacking point.

What, no Fire Suits? =))

I have the socket, breaker bar, extension, torque wrench, 6 ton jack, pieces of 2X8, but for changing tires I have the pull up on tire ramp, which I haven't and really don't want to use. I did use the bottle jack and 2X8's to raise the front of the "Bird so I could hook up when I had landing gear problems awhile back.

the ramp works ok on mine if you put it on some plywood first BUT DO NOT try to use it while on slick concrete.. That thing will shoot out of there like a rocket.

Are you placing the jack on the frame or the axle?

I place the jack under the shackle mounts for the leaf springs

I use the "Trailer-aid" ramp. I carry a 2x6 to put under it because it is just a tad low. It works like a champ and you don't have to get under ther trailer to set it up.

I carry a 6,or 10 ton BOTTLE-Jack........(cant remember which ).................just used it for the second time in its history a couple of weeks ago.........under the axle, between the spring bolts. I knew where I had stashed it, had it out a couple weeks before re-arranging things.......... :thumbrt:

Thanks for the info. I am going to use the shackle mounts too. However, I have never heard of the trailer aid. It looks very interesting. I will have to get one of those. Have a Great 4th
