Denver rv pa

Kevin and I have to make a trip to Denver and Iam not seeing a lot in the way of rv parks. Any suggestions on where to stay with the trailer.

Have you checked out Aurora Tammi. There seems to be a nice State Park in the area.

I stay ever year at St Vrain SP in Longmount. Its a little north of Denver but a great park, full hook up, concret pads. It was closed for awhile due to the flood last year but is now open.

Tammi I have not stayed in Denver before but have to agree with Rob. Cherry Hill State Park in Aurora is very highly rated in rvparksreview and is 4.3 miles southeast of Denver.
Good Luck and be safe in your travels there. Let us know what you find.

City of Golden RV Park. We stayed here and at the St Vrain SP in Longmount above. Chris

Colorado has really stepped up and made their state parks RV friendly. We stayed at Chyenne Mountain SP in Colorado Springs, New park with full hook ups. You can check on line for the other parks that the folks above have recommended and I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised. We haven't had much luck finding any commercial parks in the Denver area although I'm sure there are some. If you don't have one yet I suggest you pick up a copy of the Good Sam Directory, They combined with Woodalls this past year and it is a good source for finding places to stay.
