Good to know. Thanks for the info. I have already replaced my original tires (built in 07) on my '08 F350. I bought same tires because I liked them so well, and wear was good. Replacements are performing well also. I will check build dates and S/N later today when sun comes up. (OOPS, It is raining.) I run them at 65# when empty, and 80# when loaded/towing. The recall suggests vibration and belt issues when not fully inflated with high ambient temps. Continental obviously wants to avoid Firestone's nightmares and arguments. Good policy decision on their part. Will be expensive for them, but cheaper than a class action lawsuit.
