Its not your trailer they see George its the edge insight blocking some of their items. Been getting that since my 08 but you still get oil status and how many miles you have driven. =))

I decide to take this picture for prosperity sake since I can guarantee that it will never look this clean or empty again.

I think they did a nice job with the spray-in bed liner.

I did hook-up the trailer and the trailer is dead level so no more airbags. :thumbrt:

Ford doesn't have "Big Brother" watching. :bounce: :bounce: I just heard something about GM is tracking and keeping records on all of their vehicles even if you do not subscribe to On Star after the free months expire.

I did indeed Mike and like you said it only took me 30 to install and if I did another I could probably do it in 10 minutes. :d

I did contact customer service today to ask some questions.

The first had to do with the extra holes in the front portion of the cover.

And the second had to do with extra long support rods.

They asked for pictures and said they'll probably send me another cover. I'm waiting to hear. They seem like nice folks to deal with.

Well looks like they will send you another one the fun part is sending the other one back lol. You should only have one hole on each side in the front and kind of strange with the support rods being so long. Also if you have any of the weather stripping left you might want to put it on where the latches fold onto the cover to keep it from scratching. I will go out and get some pics for you.

When I had the rubber seal problems with my first bakflip I talked to the owner and had a new one within two days. Of coarse that one now has 42 memories in it but nothing I can do about that. :(

Thanks Mike. They're going to send me two more elevator screws for the holes which is what I originally asked for that way it will look more uniform and nobody needs to know they're non-functioning. I asked again about the long rods and still waiting for a reply. I suspect that all I'll end up doing is just cutting them a little shorter.

Rob mine does not leak at all except around the tailgate since the sides of the tailgate are not water tight. After looking at the pictures I do need to clean the underside of the cover lol.

Here are a couple pics of things you can do to keep from scratching.

No hail storms
Image
First fold make sure you have the weather strip on top of the latches
Image
Also you will see a rivet on the other side of that panel I put a piece of tape over it since it did scratch on my first cover
Image
Second fold same thing with weather strip on the latches and tape on rivet
Image
Third fold the weather strip you see on this one is my guide mark for backing up to my hitch. The other side of the panel has the cushions that go against the cab when open all the way.
Image
Pic of my support rods, I did put larger screws in where they attach to the rail

Thanks Mike, the weather strips and tape is a great idea. BTW, there's a ring up front for the bungee and I was wondering where you attach the other end. I was planning on using using the cover rail.

When you have it in the tow position there are two loops under the backside of the panel.

Not really Chris. I wanted three things.

1) It had to be secure.
This cover cannot be opened without opening the tailgate. Since I have a locking tailgate it's secure.

2) It has to be easy to take on and off if needed.
This cover is very easy to install and remove.

3) Take up as little bed space as possible.
Unlike my old roll-up cover this one has no canister taking up space at the front of the bed.

Leaks were not a concern since most of the time it will be going through all kinds of weather in the open position while towing. But it does seem to have some good seals.

Here's a picture of the seal across the top of the tailgate.
Image

And along the top of the bed rails.
