Well, that weight is trailer AND truck...... But Alice is STILL beautiful!

Solar panels, stainless boxes, 6 batteries and boxes, inverter.... He is taking CREDIT for part of the weight..
and with the original axels, we WOULD have been overweight - but he put heavier duty ones, so that makes up for extra weight as WELL as safety.. Just passing HIS words on.. guy talk - I know NOTHING about it! LOL!

Same as your SRW? That surprises me, I would have thought 4:10 on a DRW.

Trying to reach over the wide fenders is the first thing I had to resolve, I made me a set of matching factory rear steps for the dually bed.
I can reach in and unhook with no problems now, I have no idea way the factory does not make a set for the rear dually bed.

50% of the time it's not a problem. I use the step I bought to put in front of the steps of the trailer. I kept my AMP fold down step for the back and I think they make one for the side.

AMP does make a step for the side, that's one of the things I'm going to want when I get my transferflow toolbox/fuel tank installed. Good looking rig Mike, Welcome to the dually group.

Debbie does not like my pure white truck, she wants me to have an American flag decal put on the sides, we saw one on a pickup at the Little Big Horn Battlefield back in '04 that she really liked.

Kind of surprised took my truck in for an oil change plus a spin on Allison filter. I have 2,100 miles on the truck with 600 of that towing so I had them top off the DEF. I figured it would take 2 gallons but only took 1/4 gallon?

We are on our way to Oregon towing with the new truck (7,500 miles) and yesterday for the first time the message came on to add DEF , message said I had 30% left. Going 7500 miles is better then I was told when I first bought the truck :thumbrt: . The only thing I used the truck for is to tow our 5th wheel.

I read somewhere that the new trucks are using less DEF.
