Located 30 miles east of Flagstaff, 20 miles west of Winslow, AZ. Very nice park with pull thru sites. If you want to visit Meteor Crater, this park is the closest, the crater is only 5 miles south. Also, close to Winslow, AZ if you wish to stand on the corner. Price for a night is $27 with Good Sam discount.
Nice community bath, with separate bathrooms and showers.
If you want an opportunity to have your bird travel Route 66, you can do that when you exit the park, this dirt road is the old Route 66.
Nice views of the mountains and I40 from the west end of park

Re: Meteor Crater RV Park
If you are in the area, the crater is a must see. Plan for wind, though. The movies about the crater are pretty lame. A chunk of the actual meteor is on display.

Re: Meteor Crater RV Park
This pics really brought back some great memories. My wife's parents were the original managers of Indian Country (the white dome). I remember when the dome was built. To give you an idea how long ago that was, my first child was born in Flagstaff when they were there. He turned 40 this year. It has sure changed. There was no RV park back then. We love watching the movie "Starman" because the last part was filmed there. Thanks for posting the pics.

Re: Meteor Crater RV Park
Yes we had a lovely few days at this park in 2014, visited the crater then did a day trip up through Tuba City, first stopping off to see the painted sands Indian park . After lunch at Tuba City we drove over to the privately owned mini Grand Canyon then on to Grand Canyon itself with a thrilling helicopter ride over the canyon ending the day with quite a drive back through Flagstaff and on to Meoter Crater Lake RV Park then a big snnzzzz.
Days camped 2014. 76
