Mega cab means BIG AXX cab. ROTFL You can really stretch out in the back seat.
I took the new truck with the camper for a test run down the highway, and I must admitt that I wish I had had the six speed auto in the old truck. DAng I just didn't know what I was missing. :thumbrt:

Now the bad news. :(( As I was backing the camper into the slot where I keep it, I use the 4x4 (which is a push button selector now) and it is stuck in between gears. I can hear a little gear chattering but it will not move. I think it must me the solenoid , but its hard to say, since the selector know is not showing its switching into 4x4 or 2x4. I guess I will have to call Chrysler and have a tow truck pick it up.

I'm trying to keep my spirits up because this truck handle the fifthwheel so much better. It made a believer out of me.
As for as pictures, I took a couple but I cannot find the usb connector for the camera. OUCH!

...and this too shall pass. Just short note on what happened to us the first time out with Lil Red. Weekend went great, truck pulled her just fine....get home and while we were backing her into her spot on the side of our house  ....a branch came out of no where and ripped a whole in the roof of our brand new Cardinal #-o . That sucked big time....$500 deductible for a very expensive new roof and lost 3 weeks of using her while in for repairs. Hope all goes well and fast with your truck repairs.

Captain do not use 4x4 to back up your trailer unless you are in a situation you need the extra traction. You put a real bind on the transfer case, you might try putting the transfer case in neutral then put it back into 4x2 if you can get your truck off the trailer try moving the truck it should unlock the bind.

I got the truck unhooked from the camper and then proceeded to move it around. Still it won't unlock. After reading the post here and post on other boards, it seems like the trouble is with the transfer-case sticking. I'm hoping in the morning it will unstick as it cools down for the night.

Woot! I just picked the new truck up and brought it home.
Looking at the repair sheet, this is what's typed on it: code P2299 brake pedal accelerator pedal position not campatible.
Ran all diagnotic on transmission and rest Code--- unable to duplicat concern.

It appears they couldn't duplicat the problem so I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad omen. Anyway i had the BIG AXX grin driving back home. :D
